Abandoned property iii
With their sources of livelihoods gone, a lot of Igbos returned to nothingness except for the 30 shillings handed over to them by the banks after the war despite the fact that some of were already billionaires before the war, those that left their properties in other parts of the country lost them as some people took over them during the war and that made those properties to be labeled abandoned ones.
Those some people later retrieved theirs (I am not sure), the war left so many people hopeless and they had to start building from the scratch. On the other part, the Northerners had the support of other foreigners who supplied them with ammunition during the war including fighter jets and bombers. That notwithstanding, the war had come and gone. Let's move on.
