Abandoned property i

 When the war started, I was a bit startled. I thought it would never get to our side but it did. With the bombings and shells blasting here and there, Church activities were halted.

By then, hunger had crept into the vicinity and the elders gnashed their teeth in anguish. I don't know whether it was an avoidable one or not but what will be will be.

Children died while they were still being held in the hands but it was not as painful as seeing a talented young man who should have been somewhere schooling or maximizing profit die in his own pull of blood.
